I was born in Philadelphia, Pa in January 1984, lived in Upper Darby till my early teens & grew into an adult in West Chester. I currently live in Downingtown and enjoy the quiet of the area and the availability of fresh local meat and produce.
I grew up eating traditional Greek dishes that my mom would cook. I knew I enjoyed cooking as I would watch Julia Child on the television with an empty pot in front of me holding my mothers wooden spoons yelling “Let’s make recipe!” I enjoyed Julias entire attitude in the kitchen.
I realized that I had a gift in baking after I would make desserts for family gatherings and everyone would always ask me what dessert I was making. Although the desserts always tasted yummy, they usually didn’t look that pretty. I clearly have a knack for flavors not presentation!
When I moved out on my own and had the freedom in the kitchen, it became clear that I had some decent talent in the kitchen.
I would post my food pictures on my social media and people were constantly asking me for my recipe. After the persuasion of a friend and from my fiancé, I decided to start my recipe blog in January 2021 and share my recipes.
