Sausage & Gravy over Homemade Biscuits

IMG-4352.jpg

First thing you’ll do is grab a large pan, heat it over medium high heat. Place the breakfast sausage into the pan and start breaking it up. It makes it easier if you wait for it to cook slightly as you break it up.

When sausage is cooked, add the butter. Mix with the sausage. Lower heat to medium. Add the flour to the sausage and mix well.

Sprinkle with salt, pepper, thyme & garlic powder, mix well. Go ahead and add the milk to the sausage.

Mix well. The mixture starts thickening and can take anywhere between 3-8 minutes. If mixture gets too thick for you, go ahead and add a little more milk.

Serve hot over biscuits. Follow my quick biscuits recipe.
